No position for old men - Should there be an age limit for politicians?
On September 14th 2026, the former Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell was first spotted in the public eye after 3 months following a fall leaving him unconscious at his Washington home. The 84 year old had returned in a wheelchair to the Capitol to cast a vote in relation to promoting a judge to district court judgeship in Ohio but what became the talking point online was not about the vote itself but rather the state of the man making it.
